An intimate portrait of a grumpy-looking black cat tucked up in bed. What's he/she got to be cross about? They look cosy enough to me.

This is taken from a postcard dated 1910, possibly originating in France. I've upscaled and cleaned-up the artwork to make it suitable for a quality reproduction. Unfortunately, despite my best efforts, the artist is unknown. It would be nice to find more works by this uncredited artist. I personally love the Japanese-influenced aesthetic, the economical use of space and the unusual positioning of the bed. A real beauty.
